The Safari Lounge is seeking an amazing individual and chef to join it's kitchen team!
Hours are approximately 40 per week, paid at a competitive hourly rate
The role includes;
- To monitor, control and rotate stock and be responsible at times for ordering.
- To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
- To learn skills and recipes from other members of the team and implement new menu/dishes/systems where applicable ... Safari is forward thinking, are you?
- To comply with all health and safety legilslation/monitoring records/ food hygiene policies/labelling etc
- To be able to work in a team, be happy and love life!
- To help ensuring the cleanliness in the kitchen is to a very high standard, liaising with the KP
- Be prepared to work under the watchful eyes of the public, so no f's and c's!
We are looking for an individual who is interested in food and dishes from around the world, and capable of cooking and creating with different flavours and styles. We also need someone who is technically proficient; demonstrating good knife skills and has a 'taste' for food. Everything is created and cooked on site at The Safari Lounge, nothing is bought in prepared, therefore being a prep machine in a must as is the natural ability to cook.
