Description
Classical guitar by celebrated and pioneering French luthier Jean-Luc Joie.
This Aldeca model contains his \'braceless\' top. The design of the guitar has soundboard stability without the need for a bracing system. The result is complete evenness of tone across the fretboard with no wolf notes and excellent clarity. Joie\'s guitars are played by numerous professional concert guitarists, Thibault Cauvin for example.
In remarkable condition for its age, could very well pass as mint condition, no dings. It is a 9 year old instrument so expect the odd mark, nothing of note however and any mark would is hard to find. Replaced original tuners with Shaller Grandtune but can send originals instead if preferred.
Top: Solid cedar
Back and sides: Solid Indian rosewood
Neck: Cedar
Scale length: 650mm
Nut & Saddle: Bone
Tuners: Schaller Grandtune
Finish: Catalysed urethane
Nut width: 52mm
12th Fret Action: 3.1 / 2.1mm (plenty of room left on saddle)
