Director of HR – Staple Hill, Bristol
37 hours per week
£55,000 per annum
34 Days annual leave entitlement (Inc Bank Holiday entitlement)
Milestones Trust is a registered charity that supports over 1000 adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Our services include residential and nursing care homes, day services, home care and supported living. This role is based in the head office in Staple Hill.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR professional who brings transformational drive to join this successful charity and take it forward into the next decade.
The HR Director is a member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the CEO.
You will have:
• Experience at Senior HR Manager or Director level
• Sound working knowledge of UK employment legislation and ER best practice
• A flexible, positive and adaptable approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commerciality as well as values sympathetic to the care sector
You will:
• Be an integral part of the Trust’s strategic planning process and design and drive the delivery of the HR strategy
• Lead and inspire the HR team to deliver a first class HR service in an ever-changing and challenging sector
• Be a skilled communicator, successful in influencing across all levels of the organisation
• Work collegiately and collaboratively with partners across the organisation and externally
