Make a difference to your neighbourhood. Window Wanderland needs you.
Description
What is Window Wanderland?
Mary Brown, 76, adds the final flower to her window display, puts on her coat and steps out to a cold winter’s night. In the opposite front room a rock band is playing, in next door’s windows is a massive ‘Shaun the Sheep’ cut-out. Up and down the street creative displays radiate light and colour from people’s windows. Groups of people trickle down the street oooing in wonder. A child asks Mary about her paper flowers, she says she made them in memory of her husband, who passed away last year. She had great fun making them and it helped her get through Christmas.
This is a Window Wanderland.
Why do we need you?
Wanderland has been running for 2 years, organised by dedicated volunteers. Now we are in the finals for some community funding that will help us take it to even more neighbourhoods and light up their winter.
