Bright Care is a private in-home care and companionship business for older people. Our service is delivered through home visits of two hours or more with people who require additional support to live independently at home. We have offices in Edinburgh, Perth, South Glasgow (Clarkston) and Dunbartonshire (Bearsden).
Due to business growth we are currently recruiting a Care Supervisor for our Edinburgh office. Care Supervisors report directly to the Care Manager. Our supervisors are responsible for the management of the direct provision, supervision and quality assurance of the care and support provided in our service. Each Care Supervisor holds a case load of both care workers and clients for whom they are responsible.

Candidates will have relevant experience and thorough knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities associated with being in a supervisory role in a care service for older people. Successful Care Supervisors will have the ability to effectively communicate with care staff, clients and their families, and other professionals. They must have experience of working and leading teams within a social care setting, and be qualified or working towards a minimum of SVQ level 3 in social care or equivalent. Leadership and management skills are essential, as well as the business acumen and ability to guide the service through continual growth, development and improvement.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week normally over 5 days and involving some evenings and weekend work. The Care Supervisor will also be required to participate in the on-call rota.
The successful applicant will also be a driver with their own car.
