You will be responsible for the overnight security of residents at Bamber Court, a 24 hour staffed, 10 bed supported housing project for mothers aged 16-25 and their children under 5 years of age. You will act as an initial point of call in case of any issues, conduct Health and Safety tasks, hourly project checks, cleaning tasks, and ensure the communal areas are kept in a clean and tidy state. You will also assist with the monthly newsletter and resident involvement activities. Some support work will be involved, dealing with any resident issues as they occur to pass onto the Support Worker at the end of your shift.
To provide a quality service that reflects Adactus Housing Group’s professional standards. You will need to ensure Supporting People requirements are maintained and actively engender a positive environment of equality and diversity at all times.
1. Liaise with residents on a daily basis and ensure their support needs are responded to efficiently and effectively in accordance with our service standards and Supporting People Quality Assessment Framework.

3. For accommodation based services, ensure housing management functions are undertaken as follows:-
a. Take necessary action if clients do not comply with the terms and conditions of their license agreement.
b. To be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the service to the required standards to ensure a safe and secure environment. To include regular health and safety checks.
c. To ensure repairs are reported promptly and completion monitored in line with the Associations procedures
d. Cleaning of the project and of vacant rooms.
4. Liaise with external agencies and relatives in a professional manner and record information as required.
5. Carry out necessary health and safety checks.
6. Attend and participate in training and meetings that may be required in your role.
7. Produce and distribute literature that keeps service users informed e.g. Newsletter
8. Follow all Group policies and procedures in accordance with the role and attend Mandatory training when requested to ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures.
9. Ensure you work in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and the Equality & Diversity Policy at all times.
10. Carry out any duty which may be, from time to time requested by the Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive or Group Director commensurate with the position.
