Part time in house accounts assistant required at Haymarket
Description
A unique job opportunity is available within Edinburgh city centre. A successful kitchen design company based at Haymarket is looking to recruit an in-house accounts assistants to work alongside the directors for what would initially be a part time role of 3 days a week, but with the possibility of increasing to full time as the demands of the business grow. The company is looking for a mature team member and candidates with experience in accountancy and bookkeeping would be ideal.
The annual salary offered is £10,200 for 3 days but this will be under review as the candidate grows within the role and can increase pro rata as the role grows in terms of time commitment.
The role will include:
Raising quotes to clients.
Raising sales invoices to clients
Processing purchase invoices & paying suppliers.
Administrative support to management.
Greeting clients
Basic account reconciliations.
Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail and relevant experience in bookkeeping with good working knowledge of Excel.
There will be two interviews which may include competency based tests.
