Description
ROBORAPTOR
Roboraptor uses motion technology, based on realistic biomechanics, that give it fluid and natural movements. It has a multi-function remote control which uses infrared.
For more fun and interactive play, Robo has infrared and stereo sound sensors on its head, plus touch sensors on its chin, tail and mouth. These allow Roboraptor to monitor and interact with its environment.
Roboraptor has four different modes of behaviour or moods: Hunting, Cautious, Playful and Free-roam. Hunting, it reacts to sharp sounds; Cautious, it moves away. In Playful mode, it will react to sounds in a more whimsical fashion and, in Free-roam, it explores its own environment, avoiding obstacles and stopping occasionally to listen, then investigate.*
If you touch one of Roboraptors touch sensors, its reaction will vary depending on its mood. Touching its face when it is Hunting will make it react angrily and it is likely to 'attack'. If it is feeling Playful, Roboraptor will nuzzle your hand.
This is an early version of Roboraptor. This means that he can also follow a laser-like target pointed on the ground from the remote. This can be used to lead Roboraptor around a room under direct control. (This feature was removed from later units).
Roboraptor is in mint condition. Why pay up to 135 on Amazon or postage and 50 on Ebay, when you can whisk him away for 35 within the hour!? To see a video of Robo in action, visit Facebook Group 'South Wales Dog Walking Club' and type in: Scott meets Roboraptor.
