Description
This is a 1980 conway corniche it was recently waterproofed, stood its ground in the horrrible storm we had while on holiday when everyone elses awning was blowing away. its got a rip on sun canopy, I recently caused. my beloved Mrs was going to sew up at some point and never got round to it. It also has a small hole on back corner could do with a patch but i never bothered as I never got round to it. as it doesn't affect it when in use. It has electrics fitted, cooker works. but you will need a cable. There are some markings on the inner door but you don't notice it once set up. used it the other weekend kids tried to convince me not to sell but I like my caravan. All in all brilliant trailer tent the space in there is amazing. has odd age marks but for a tent that is 36 years old its brilliant, If I had the space to keep it I would not be selling it! both tyres have good tread on too
I found the 1980 Conway camping brochure on line and thought I would add their description to best describe it. remember this was 1980 though -
THE CONWAY CORNICHE.
It is easy to offer you all the superlatives for this trailer tent - justifiably the top of our range - but we suggest that you should take a look for yourself at the comfort, luxury and sheer extravagance of the specification.
Take the space for example - and there's plenty to take, Overall dimensions are 5.80 metres x 4.50 metres including the standard extension and sun canopy. If you take up the option of an underbed inner tent, then the Corniche will sleep up to seven people comfortably. The kitchen unit and wardrobe occupy an area of there own with out intrusion into the living space; and the youngsters will positively enjoy keeping their playthings tidily in the storage cupboards which also double up as dining seats on either side of the integral table.
that is all folks..... its a bargain at £350 so please don't try and make any offers.
