Teaching assistants needed for independent school

Music Stuff are a small independent school that work with Manchester secondary PRU. We deliver KS3 and KS4 education to small groups of 10 to 15 pupils. We have two KS3 year 9 centres and two KS4 centres and we are looking for teaching assistants to join the team. We deliver a full curriculum in year 9 that includes Maths, English, Science, Humanities, ICT, Art, PE, PHSE. In KS4 we deliver 5 GCSE subjects in Maths, English, Science, Statistics & Art. We also deliver functional skills ICT, vocational qualifications in multimedia and music as well as PE & PHSE. Music Stuff are a well established independent school with a good reputation and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for the young people that we work with. Music Stuff have been graded GOOD by Ofsted. We are looking for teaching assistants that have the experience and ambition to work with young people that for one reason or another have found it difficult to function in mainstream education. Our young people have complex needs and can be very challenging from day to day. Music stuff have however developed working practises and systems that allow us to effectively engage these young people back into learning. For the right candidate this can be a very rewarding job.
