Are you aged 16-24 and thinking of a career, but not sure if it is right for you? Why not 'Try before you Buy'. We have fully-funded Traineeships for unemployed people aged between 16 & 24 which will improve your basic skills, let you gain work placement in a real situation, and gain a qualification at an introductory level. Once you are sure, we can help you to progress all the way to degree and professional level courses in your chosen field. We also have funding for Apprenticeships.
Traineeships last for 12 weeks +, and your existing benefits are protected. Progression possible to many jobs sectors: Current courses on offer include:
Psychology, Counselling, Voluntary Work, Music Performance, Religion and Philosophy, Construction, Catering and Hospitality, Optometric Assistants, Law and Legal, Business and Management, Retail, Engineering, Rail Studies, Sport and Leisure, Funeral Operations and Services, Civil Celebrancy, and many more courses. New Groups start every month.
Training and Qualifications available for Security Guards and Stewarding at Events. These are funded via 16-24 Traineeships.
We also have a wide range of courses at levels 3,4,5, & 6 which are funded by Advanced Learner Loans. No repayments until the April following the end of your course, and only when you are earning £21,000 pa or more on a regular basis. For all learners aged 19+
Are you an adult looking to get on a degree course? We have a range of funded Access to HE Courses available.
Many short courses are on offer at low cost - such as Emergency First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Safety in Catering, Fire Awareness, and many short courses in Health & Social care that are suitable for CPD. Courses available throughout Yorkshire and the UK, by traditional classes, Flexible Learning, and Distance Learning
