Large paddle/ wade/ swim pool with cover adults & kids
£20
Description
We bought this for when family visited last summer and it was up for 4 weeks (including a lot of rain).
The adults could happily sat or even lie flat in it whilst the kids leapt in & out, great fun. I forget the size but I think 8 feet? I will check, might be 10. I'm quite tall and it was near my knees when full.
Easy-up - The top ring / rim inflates (blow up by mouth or pump) then just hold a hose in the main bit of the pool to fill. Make sure the 'floor' of the pool is flat with no wrinkles otherwise it is very hard to straighten wrinkles when any water is in. The water pressure then gives the pool its shape when it is full.
The pics with the woman in the red bikini top & black checked bottoms, it wasn't quite full/ inflated; the ones with the 2 boys with water blasters it was.
We have now moved to a smaller house and have no flat area big enough to put the pool on, I found today, so would like it gone asap.
I THINK there might now be a leak in the inflatable rim as it has gone flat overnight but I didn't blow it right up & it was working fine before we'd stored it. If there is, should be was to patch with a repair kit.
The inside is clean, I will give the outside a scrub if I get a chance as it has some algae from storeage/ use that will clean off easily.
I also bought the dark blue cover you put on and tighten with a string round the rim to keep leaves etc out when not in use. That is in perfect condition.
It has 2 inlet tubes for a pump or a heater; we didn't bother with either so I will find the plugs for those. Also a screw-capped drain.
Very good value, tough and easy to use.
No holes in the water-holding bit (at least as far as I have filled it today and it was perfect when stored) & tbh the air-rim does not help support it so isn't really needed.
Easy to patch if needed but my sister has one up most of the year and hers hasn't ripped yet.
Really good buy & I'm quite annoyed we will have to downsize!
Cost £50 when new
